Los Angeles native Mariana Micheli has spent a decade living out of a suitcase working internationally for communities ravaged by natural disasters and overwhelming loss. This experience sparked a desire within her to add a little wonder to the world. She found kinship with the unpredictable and dynamic nature of ceramics and inspiration in the sustainable possibilities of biomaterials. 

Mariana seeks out textures and finishes that evoke otherworldly landscapes and the primeval beauty of prehistoric times. Her artistic vision is informed by the timeless elegance of traditional Japanese design, and an unwavering desire towards continuous exploration.
